There's a New Orchid in Town!

Hey there everyone!

Yesterday I noticed that there had been added some new clothes to the Starplaza. More clothing from Velvet Orchid, hooray! Therefore I decided to do this post with some of this brand new, beutiful clothes.

This first outfit is quite simple in itelf. I think the print on the top is quite cute and the jeans are very cool. I decided to colour it up a bit with the colourful backpack and the colourful shoes. The bag and shoes are starcoin items, the top and jeans are stardollar items.

I thought the pink on the print on the dress and on the boombox would pull the outfit together. I think the jacket looksreally cool and the shoes are the perfect mix of cool and soft. Overall, I really enjoy this outfit and think it  looks very good.

The last outfit actually contains something that is not from this new collection. That is the shoes. However, I felt that this outfit needed some black heels, so I decided to go with some older Velvet Orchid heels. I think the shoes go really well with the beautiful bag and the simple dress is just perfectly casual and classy. I really love how this outfit looks together.

The Future is Original

Hello everyone!

I am sorry that I didn't post yesterday. I have just been really busy lately as exams are coming up. Therefore I cannot promise that I will post every single day for a while. However, I will do my best to try to do so, but at times I might only post every other day.

For this post I tried to style some different shorts from Original Future. This is because I think, the brand is really cool. I hope you will like these outfits.

This first one I tried to make sporty by adding the hat and choosing these shoes, while still keeping it a little bit everyday casual. Also, I know that the name of the shorts nvolve pink, but I see them more as purple. So hence the name.

Blue is my favourite colour and if I am being honest, this is also my favpurite outfit. I tried to match the blue in the shirt with the shorts and the dots on the shirt witht the crystals on the shoes.

With these pink shorts I tried to create a more girly look. Therefore I added some pointy high heels and a cute necklace to make it look girly.

Get Ready to Play!

Hello there, stardollies!

In this post I will show you how I have styled four different playsuits. I wanted to make up for not posting anything yesterday, so I decided to do four stylings today instead of two. I decided to styles playsuits because I love wering them myself. So many of them can very easily be styled so they look either dressy or casual and I love that about. So here we go!

This first outfit is probably my favourite, if I am being honest - and I am. I think it looks very cute, cool and casual and I am so happy with the overall result. I love that there are both fringes on the kimono and the shoes and I feel that the colours go really well together.

This next playsuit is styled quite simply, as I really like it the way that it is. I think it looks very beautiful and with the brown/golden necklace and the brown shoes it looks even better. I think it is quite sophisticated, yet casual.

I really love this outfit and think the playsuit is so cute. I decided to keep it simple because the playsuit is so pretty on its own. However, I did decide to also add a headpiece, as I thought it was fun and could add some fun and colour to the outfit.

This last one I decided to do, as I did a post just a few days ago on the new Basics collection and I did not try to style one of the playsuits in the collection. I added the small purse to the outfit to add some colour.

Supporting the Troops

Dear stardollies. 

I am sorry this post is up so late, but something came up yesterday. However, that just means that I will be posting twice today, hooray! For this post I was inspired by those military pieces from the It Girls collection. Although I am not pro-war, I still thought it could make for some cool outfits. 

This first look is a dress look, and although it is a military dress, the colour and shape of it is quite feminine, so I tried to make it look a bit more cool and "raw" by adding a pair of short, cool boots. 

This second outfit consists of more pieces and I really like it. I think the boots and jacket make it look very cool. The skirt also makes it less "hard". Overall, I really like it.

Date Night

Hey, dearest stardollies. 

Today I decided to style two different, cute dresses. I think they would be perfect for a spring day. I am not a very girl-y girl, so I am not always that good at these kinds of stylings, but I hope you still like them. 

This first styling is only in starcoins and it is quite inexpensive. I have had my eye on this dress for quite a while, and I like how the necklace makes it more dressy and less casual. Also, I think the shoes are very cute. 

This second look costs stardollars. I really think the dress is cute and quite perfect to wear, for example, to go on a date in the spring. I might even buy it myself for my own MeDoll at one point. 

I really hope you enjoyed this post. I tried to get out of my comfort zone and do something a little more girly and pink. Let me know, if it is something I should do more often.

New Basics!

Hey, dear stardollies!

When going into Starplaza today, I received a VERY pleasant surprise: NEW BASICS ITEMS! As some of you may have noticed, I enjoy also doing stylings and outfits that are affordable. And Basics items definitely are affordable! Therefore I have decided to do a post with different stylings of items from this new collection.

Although this first look only contains one item from Basics, I still rally enjoy it. I think it is very simple and beautiful. Itis not that colourful, but I think that is part of the beauty of it. It isnot too demanding for attention. One could also add some colourful jewellery, for example, to add some colour and contrast.

 

The second look I really enjoy. I decided to take a short dress with some tummy action and shoulder action going on and then add the cool cardigan to sort of dress it down a little bit and make it more casual and make it look more like an everyday outfit.

This third look I find very cute. I think it  looks like something I could see myself wearing in the summer or on a hot spring day. I tried to make it stand out a little more by using a top with a print and a large hat.

The last look is quite casual. I have actually dreamed of owing that jacket for a long time now and I thought it would look very nice in this outfit. This is definitely something I could see myself wearing on a cool spring evening, hanging out with my friends.

Jeans on a Budget

Hey sweet Stardollies!

Today's post is all about jeans. Who doesn't love a nice pair of jeans? That's why I decided to style four different pairs of jeans to create four different styles - and all you need are a few starcoins! I know I am personally not much of a girly girl, which is why it is difficult for me to come up with more sophisticated and girly type stylings, but I do try. 

This first one is not very girly, but I really like the boyfriend jeans. I decided to pair them up with a cool t-shirt and sneakers to complete the casual look. 

This next look I did because I absolute adore the shirt. It is totally going on my wish list! I decided to match the shirt with some simple jeans, a muted pair of sneakers and a more brightly coloured bag. I must say I am quite chuffed. I really enjoy this styling.

The third look is an attempt at doing a more girly styling. I tried to match the jeans, which I think has a really cool colour, with a simple, sophisticated shirt, some nice heels and a statement necklace. The result is a cool, girly look that can be used for most occasions.

The last look I decided to do because I thought the jeans were amazingly cool. I love the casual look, so I decided to put it together with a simple t-shirt and some cool sneakers. This is definitely something I would wear to school in real life. I think the bag fits well due some of the dots on the trouser having the same colour.

The Perfect Lazy Day

Hey there, Stardollies!

So, these two lazy day stylings were inspiredby my day yesterday. I was not feeling too well, I was feeling rather ill actually, so all I wanted to do was put on some sweatpants, a sweatshirt and crawl under covers with some good movies. Therefore I decided to do two stylings inspired by just that.

This first outfit is the starcoin outfit. I personally think it perfectly illustrates how I looked yesterday. The sunglasses were added, as I think that is an essential accessory after a self-inflicted day in bed as well as when you are just too tired to face the sunlight.

The second outfit which is made up of stardollar items can be seen below. I decided to add the bunny bag, as when you have a lazy day you might just want to stay in bed all day and snuggle up to your childhood toys.

I hope these might have inspired you to have a lazy day yourself - either on Stardoll or in real life. I realise that everyone might not celebrate a lazy day in sweatpants and sweatshirt, but this is how I do it. I might do a lazy day part 2 at one point with some different kinds of outfit. Would you guys like that?

Boho style

Hey, sweet Stardollies!

Today, I will put up two posts as an apology for not posting anything yesterday. This first one I got the idea from when I saw two of the items from the new It Girls collection. I hope you will enjoy them.

This first one only costs starcoins. The poncho was quite dark so I decided to use dark accessories too. However, I feel that the light hair colour kind of balances it out. Also, I really like the sandals as I think they really add something to the look and keeps it looking bohemian.

The second look only costs stardollars. It is most lighter looking than the first outfit. I like the way the sandals and hat match the fringes on the dress. I decided do to a styling that I thought was different from the styling o the dress taht can be seen in the Starplaza to mix it up a bit.

Two Pairs of Jeans

Hello, lovely Stardollies.

Today, I decided to create two different looks with two different pairs of jeans. I also decided to only use starcoin items, as that is something that everyone can afford.

The first pair of jeans are black, so I decided to create more of a "rock-y" look. I did this by adding what I think is a very cool jacket as well as some nice earrings. In order to not overpower the look, I decided not to use shoes that were more simple, yet still very cool.

For the second look, I used a pair of peach coloured jeans and decided to go for a more girly, yet quite simple look. I thought the simple, white shirt was very cute and I believe that the gold jewellery adds a nice sort of finish to the look.

Spring Feelings

Hello dear Stardollies.

Today, I decided that I would do stylings inspired by spring. With the last post I realised that four stylings in one blog post might be a bit too much. Therefore I decided that I would only do two looks today. One is all starcoin items and the other is all stardollar items.

The first styling is the one with only starcoin items. When I cam across the green shorts, I felt so inspired, as I thought they were so cute and could really brighten up the outfit. I then decided to pair it with a dotted shirt, as I love dotted prints. Lastly, the look is paired with a pair of heels with a hint of gold on them - one can then pair up the look with gold jewellery for a more dressed up look.

The second look is the one with only stardollar items. I absolutely adore the cute skirt with daisies and decided to go for quite a casual look, like I did with the starcoin look. The white, loose would be perfect on a hot spring day and the heels are so cute and simple. I thought the bag with the daisies in was absolutely adorable and just completed the look perfectly.

Graduation Time

Hello, dear Stardollies.

I am from Denmark and here we have a certain tradition when graduating from high school. This involves speeches from teacher and the principal, eating with your class and everyone's parents - and most importantly (at least for us girls) it involves wearing the prettiest white dress, you can find.

I am not sure where the tradition about wearing a white dress originates from, but it means that us girls are freaking out about finding the perfect white dress for the occation. Thankfully, I have now found mine, which is an almost ivory skaterdress with lots of lace. So gorgeous!

However, all this looking at white dresses inspired me to style some white dresses, so my doll is also ready for the graduation - there is not much time left! I have styled four different dresses. The total price of the styling varies so there is something everyone can afford.

I am going to start out with the gothic inspired styling. All the items cost stardollars, however, they are not too expensive. This styling puts a twist on the usual cute-sy, girl-y stylings that can most often be seen at a real-life graduation.

The next styling is a bit more expensive. It is much more girly than the first one, but I like it very much. However, it is also more expensive than the first styling.

The next two are for the Stardollie on a budget, as they only cost starcoins. The only exception is the hair, but I just used that particular style the remove the hair from the doll's neck, as I believed that would look better. And I was too lazy to change it in the beauty salon, haha.

This first look is quite casual and cute. I very much enjoy the colours added to the outfit by the shoes and the necklace and I am very happy with the overall look of the outfit.

This last styling is a bit more rock n' roll. The dress itself is quite cute, but by adding the big, black necklace and the black shoes, a soft rock look is achieved

Hello, all Stardollies.

I have started this blog in an attempt to post some stylings once in a while. This is because I often play around in my suite and Starplaza, creating different stylings. However, I never get to show people these different stylings. I have therefore started this blog to achieve just that.

I hope, you will enjoy the different stylings that I create. I will do my best to explain, where I got the idea for the styling from as well as explain why, I have chosen to style the outfit the way I have.

This blog will be my go-to place for procrastination, but I hope that you will enjoy the blog nonetheless.
